BACKGROUND CLEARANCE DETAILS
Initial volunteer acceptance to participate in a scheduled RAVS clinic is conditional upon completion of a basic background inquiry and confirmation of the RAVS Volunteer Agreement.
HSUS works with Accusource to offer an online background check process. Applicants who are accepted to participate will receive an initial trip acceptance email with a link to the online background check request form. This form is completed once for each volunteer - volunteers participating in more than one field clinic need to submit only one.

Veterinary Students, Tech Students, Assistants and Support Volunteers: Search includes criminal record, sex offender registry and SSN verification.
Credentialed Veterinary Technicians: Search includes criminal record, sex offender registry, SSN verification and professional license/credential verification.
Veterinarians: Search includes criminal record, sex offender registry search, SSN verification, professional license/credential verification and education verification
