TRIP DETAILS

Mexico-Compostela - UAN
April 17-25, 2010

THIS TRIP IS FULL FOR ALL POSITIONS.
NO ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Dr. Susan Monger will be conducting a surgical teaching clinic at the Autonomas University of Nayarit (UAN) in Compostela, Mexico.  This will NOT be a high volume clinic. This clinic will concentrate on enhancing surgical skill for faculty and final year veterinary students at the UAN in Compostela, Mexico.

A small number of U.S. veterinary students will be accepted to participate as part of this team and will act primarily as veterinary assistants. This will be an excellent opportunity to broaden your cultural and educational experience and a great opportunity for clinical and cultural exchange.

Students should have experience and must have participated in at least one U.S. HSVMA-RAVS clinic prior to applying for this trip. Spanish language skill is strongly encouraged.

Due to the logistical confinements of the trip, all volunteers will be required to cover all expenses of their trip - including transportation, food and lodging. Costs will range from $600-$1200, depending on airfare from the US.

For additional information contact Dr. Monger directly. (s_monger@yahoo.com).
